Scott Morley is an IT Leader. He has worked in the IT field for over 20 years in various industries, most recently Hospitality, Healthcare, and Biopharmaceuticals. His focus has been on Messaging, which has led to an understanding of other fields most notably Security, Storage, Directory Services, and Application Development. Scott has worked his way up from his early days in the support trenches, to managing teams and projects, and developing IT strategy. Scott founded a small consulting business in the tax accounting niche, and also taught technical classes at Clark University satellite locations.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Computer Science, and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Bentley University. As part of his last year at Bentley, Scott was a co-author of a paper, “Complementary Resources And A Multi-Hospital Emergency Medicine System Pilot Test” presented at the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) conference in 2013. He was also a contributing author for “Using Facebook” and “Using Exchange 2000 Server”. He has earned many technical certifications throughout his career including MCT, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, and ITIL. Scott is a member of Mensa and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for Business.
Scott lives in Massachusetts with his wife and dog. He enjoys camping, cooking, and single malt scotch. He was a Boy Scout Leader for 10 years and is an avid Science Fiction and Fantasy reader.
